Man Crashes Stolen Vehicle into Home, Police Say Alcohol a Factor

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): One man is in stable condition after he crashed a stolen vehicle into a home. 22-year-old Donald Overbay was driving the vehicle west on CR 60 Sunday morning just before 10:00 when he left the road, over corrected, slid sideways, and crashed into a home on CR 60, near CR 17, knocking part of the home from its foundation. The vehicle overturned, landed on its roof, and caught fire. Overbay was pulled from the vehicle by the homeowner. He suffered several injuries and was taken to Parkview Regional, where he was last listed in stable condition. According to DeKalb County Police, alcohol was a contributing factor to the crash.
