Man Critical After Early Morning Shooting on FW’s South Side

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One man is in critical condition after a shooting early Monday morning on Fort Wayne's south side. At 1:32 A.M., officers were called to S. Clinton Street near Lexington Ct. on report of a person shot in a parking lot. When police got to the scene, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition and downgraded to critical. According to police, the investigation has revealed that a disturbance happened that led to the man being shot; however, it is unknown what the disturbance was about. Witnesses in the area are being interviewed by detectives. There are no suspects or suspect descriptions at this time, and police have no one in custody.
