FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man is in critical condition following an overnight shooting. At midnight Thursday, Police were called to Greene Street, near Eden Green Apartments, on report of an armed disturbance involving a man with a gun. On their way, officers were told that shots were heard being fired. A victim was found in the street, and he was taken to a local hospital in critical condition where he remains Thursday. During the investigation, a van and its owner were found in the apartment complex about a block away, and detectives have detained the man and towed his van as part of the investigation. A motive is unknown and no arrests have been made at this time. The shooting remains under investigation.
