FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One man is in the hospital after shooting himself this morning. Police were called to the emergency room after 8 a.m. on a report of a gunshot wound, that according to The Journal Gazette. The victim said he was cleaning his gun while thinking it was unloaded, when he pulled the trigger and the gun went off, shooting him in the hand. Reports say police suggested a gun safety plan for the victim.
