Man Surrenders in Kendallville Standoff

KENDALLVILE, Ind. (WOWO): Police were able to convince a man with a gun to surrender peacefully Sunday afternoon in Noble County.

Authorities were called to a home on East Diamond Street where a 25-year-old man, according to a report in the News-Sentinel. The incident started around 4:20 p.m.

For a while it closed traffic on that street an neighbors had to be evacuated.

After about an hour of negotiating, the man exited the home peacefully. He was to a local treatment facility.
