CELINA, Ohio (WOWO) – Mercer County police arrested a registered sex offender for the second time this year on Monday.

Tyler L. Lovette, 24 of Celina, was taken into custody by Mercer County Sheriff’s deputies after he was spotted walking on East Market Street in Celina.

Back in January, Lovette was first taken into custody on a Grand Jury Indictment for Failure to Register Change of Address, a Level 4 Felony. He was arrested after he was found hiding in a heating duct in a Celina, Ohio home.

Lovette was then released from jail on February 15, but never registered his new address. Being a Tier I sex-offender, Lovette was required to register his address within three days of being released.

He is now charged with Failure to Register Change of Address, another Level 4 Felony. He was arraigned Thursday, and his bond was set at $50,000.
