Moped Driver Charged in 2014 Crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind.; (WOWO): A moped driver who's known to have injured two people in a 2014 crash is accused of driving while intoxicated.

According to the Journal Gazette, 55-year-old Bruce Murdock was charged on Monday with three felony charges related to operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Those charges stem from the July 2014 crash that happened on Fairfield Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard.

Murdock was seriously injured in the crash and so was his passenger, Angela Lechleidner, who suffered a number of facial injuries, including a broken jaw.

A test showed that Murdock consumed morphine prior to the crash. His BAC was also more than twice the legal limit.
