More Seeking Help After Vectren Billing Error

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Some public assistance organizations in southwestern Indiana say many Vectren electricity customers are seeking help paying big bills from the utility correcting ones that were underestimated from over the summer.

Knight Township Trustee Kathryn Martin says her office in Evansville had nearly 600 requests for assistance from people who've not been in before in the days after the new bills went out. Martin tells the Evansville Courier & Press that some people are sobbing when they reach the office window.
