Motorcycle Crash Victim Identified

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The man killed in a motorcycle crash Tuesday night in Allen County has been identified. According to the Allen County Coroner, 25-year-old Timothy Patterson of Fort Wayne died at the scene of the crash from blunt force trauma.


Police say a large group of motorcyclists were on the Baer Field Thruway when two of the drivers sped away from the pack. One of those motorcyclists, Patterson, crashed at Winters Road near Fogwell Parkway.

Before the crash, police believe the motorcycle was likely traveling more than 120 miles per hour.


The crash has been ruled an accident. Patterson is the 18th traffic fatality in Fort Wayne and Allen County this year.
