Motorist Struck While Directing Traffic on I-69

A motorist was struck Sunday night on I-69, after stopping to help another driver who had spun-out on the icy highway.  It happened just south of the Illinois Road interchange.  When the good Samaritan got out to help, he was hit by a mini van.  The driver of the mini van says he didn’t see the man directing traffic.  He was taken to a hospital and was last reported in critical condition.
