N. Ind. Police Seek Man who Allegedly Shot Son, 6

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP): Northern Indiana police are searching for a man who allegedly shot his 6-year-old son in the leg during an argument with the boy's uncle.

South Bend police are seeking 29-year-old Kenny Lee, who's charged with attempted battery and criminal recklessness.

Lee got into an argument Thursday with the boy's uncle, who lives with Lee's children.

The uncle, Jerome Holloway, says he kept insisting Lee provide more support for the children when Lee arrived at the house.

Police say the men were arguing outside when Lee pulled out a gun and fired a shot, striking his son, who was standing on the home's porch.

Relatives say the bullet broke the boy's leg but did not require surgery. The boy's leg was put in a cast.
