National Influenza Vaccination Week

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Have you been immunized? Well, this week is National Influenza Vaccination Week, and State health leaders want to remind Hoosiers that it’s not too late to receive their flu shot. Indiana ranks 13th worst in the nation for flu vaccines, with just 40 percent of Hoosiers being vaccinated. The state department of health says it’s especially important for those high-risk for complications from the flu to get the vaccine, including children 6 months and older, pregnant women, and people age 50 and older.
