FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): First Financal Bank leaders showed off their new regional headquarters in downtown Fort Wayne.

At an open house Tuesday, Market President Rob Slusher says the centralized location of Anthony Wayne Building was perfect choice.

He says it reaffirms their involvement in the community by being in the heart of it.

John Urbahns with Greater Fort Wayne Inc., says the building was plagued with 80 to 90 percent vacancy a few years ago. Now, its packed with activity. He added the building was symbolic of downtown development overall.

The 15-story building is home to a First Financial banking center, fitness center, medical clinic, regional offices for Senator Joe Donnelly, condos and soon a upscale restaurant.
