New Indiana State Fair App Includes Maps, Events

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): The Indiana State Fair has created a free, new and improved smartphone app that puts its midway, 140 food stands, barns and attractions in the palm of a hand for iPhone and Android users.

Fair spokesman Andy Klotz says the app has six interactive maps with different categories of destinations. They include exhibits and attractions, food vendors, first aid and information stations and baby feeding and changing stations.

The app also includes listings of fair events and discounts for each day of the event's run.

This year's fair runs Aug. 2-18.
