WABASH COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A North Manchester woman is in the Wabash County Jail for battering her four-year-old son.

According to officers with the Indiana State Police Department 25-year-old Savannah Baermann will face a felony charge of battery.

Police say a video was provided to them that allegedly showed Baermann hitting her four-year-old son, repeatedly, with the backside and open side of her hand. The reported incident occurred in late July 2014, at Baermann’s North Manchester home.

The boy was placed into the care of his father, who does not live with Baermann, however this is an ongoing investigation.
