Northern Indiana Students Head To D.C. For National March For Life

FORT WAYNE, IND. (WOWO) — On Wednesday, Jan. 22, 165 college-aged and high school students with chaperones, as part of the student-focused Life Defenders group from Right to Life of Northeast Indiana, will depart Fort Wayne, Ind. for Washington, D.C.

In the nation’s capital, these students will participate in the National March for Life, the largest regularly reoccurring pro-life march, which annually protests the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.

The students are expected to join hundreds of thousands of other pro-life advocates to demand an end to abortion.

The schools attending this year include: Blackhawk Christian School, Concordia Lutheran High School, Lakewood Park Christian School, Lakeland Christian Academy, Grace College, Forester Coalition for Life Students, and other students from around Indiana.
