Get ready for some severe weather tonight. Meteorologist Todd Klaassen says the more sun we see this afternoon, the worse it’ll be tonight.

“The more sunshine we see, the less rainfall we see this afternoon, the better a chance we stand to see storms that are more severe, including widespread damaging winds and maybe an isolated tornado,” Klaassen says.

The National Weather Service is calling for the storms to arrive in the Fort Wayne area between 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight. We’ll keep you updated throughout the day.
