Officials Warn of Dangers of Blue-Green Algae

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Indiana officials are warning residents about the dangers of possible high levels of blue-green algae at state reservoirs and lakes. The State Department of Health says swimmers and boaters should take care in all recreational waters to avoid contact with algae. Officials warn that the concentrated presence of blue-green algae can be linked to some adverse health effects.
