DEFIANCE, OH. (WOWO): An Ohio man is facing two fifth degree felony charges for soliciting a minor.

According to officials with the Defiance Police Department around 6:30 a.m., Thursday morning, investigators served a search warrant at the home of 40-year-old Phillip Mayer of Defiance, Ohio.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of Mayer. He's charged with two counts of soliciting a child, under the age of 13, to engage in sexual activity.

Mayer will make his initial appearance in court, July 11th. In the meantime, the investigation is ongoing and more charges could be filed at a later date.
