COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP): Ohio's unemployment rate was down slightly to 5.6 percent for September.
 
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services released last month's unemployment rate figure Friday morning.
 
August's report showed the state's unemployment rate at 5.7 percent, identical to July's number.
 
Last year's September unemployment rate was 7.4 percent.
