PERU, Ind. (WOWO) — One person is in a Fort Wayne Hospital and one is in jail following a police-involved shooting north of Peru.

That shooting happened when Indiana State Police were called to a mobile home where someone was banging on the windows.

The person involved was in a nearby trailer and was reportedly brandishing a gun.

When he refused to put it down – he was shot.

He was taken to a Fort Wayne Hospital.

A woman from the trailer was arrested on active warrants involving drugs and paraphernalia.
