FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A motorcyclist is in critical condition after losing control of his bike last night near downtown Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne police say they were called to West Main street about two blocks west of the St. Mary’s River just past 9:15pm about an unresponsive man laying in the road. Witnesses say he had been driving east on Main with a group of other bikers, when he lost control.

He wasn’t wearing a helmet when he crashed.

For now police don’t know whether alcohol or speed contributed to the crash.
