FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – One person has died after a hit-and-run crash that happened Friday night.

The Fort Wayne Police Department says they arrived to the Covington Rd. scene shortly after 8 p.m. where a man was found in critical condition. 

The man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

The FWPD says the suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark colored SUV, though no other information has been provided.
