Open Streets Fort Wayne set to debut Sunday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Sunday brings a new event to the annual Three Rivers Festival.

It’s the first ever Open Streets Fort Wayne event. The city will be closing Calhoun Street to traffic, plus a few others, to hold a block party that stretches more than two miles long.

It seems like there will be something for everyone, as different “activity hubs” have been set up along the route, including two half hour BMX stunt shows featuring World Champion, 15 year old Hannah Roberts; free Salsa dance lessons; giant board games; and lots of live music.

You can find the Open Streets Fort Wayne map and details on even more activities here.
