Over 550 Pounds of Marijuana Seized from Auburn Road Home

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Drug Task force along with several other departments seized approximately 582 pounds of marijuana Tuesday. The task force worked with Indiana State Police, ICE, the Fort Wayne Police Department, the DEA and New Haven Police. After surveillance of the delivery to a house on Auburn Road near N Clinton, the Allen County SWAT team went into the home and recovered not only the 550 pounds delivered, but an additional 32 pounds already pre-packaged for sale. The total street value is over 580 thousand dollars. Two men, 49-year-old Luis E. Perez, and 23-year-old Alvaro A. Rivera, both of Fort Wayne, and charged with dealing marijuana. The case is still under investigation.
