Police Make Arrest In Shop Owner Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Fort Wayne police believe they have found the man wanted for murdering the owner of a local tobacco shop.  

Wednesday morning police announced the capture of 22 year old Jamel Coleman of Fort Wayne.  He's the suspect in the shooting of Antonio Lopez Nino on April 7th.  Lopez was the shop owner of the Smoke House Tobacco Outlet on S. Lafayette St. in Fort Wayne.

Coleman is facing charges of murder, felony murder, and robbery resulting in bodily injury.  He was arrested Tuesday at an Indianapolis bus station. 

Authorities credit a combination of good police work, cooperation of other agencies and public input.
