INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Governor Mike Pence has issued a proclamation declaring the month of November as Adoption Month in the state of Indiana. Pence says he hopes the state can find permanent placements and successful adoptions for children. The Indiana Department of Child Services is currently recruiting adoptive families for nearly 100 children.
