Police Investigate Fort Wayne Bank Robbery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police responded to an armed robbery at a bank on Trier Road Saturday.

Initial reports indicate two males, wearing masks and armed with guns, entered Partners 1st Federal Credit Union and demanded cash. The males then fled with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.

Detectives are currently interviewing any customers that may have been inside at the time, as well as the employees. They are also currently reviewing security footage, hoping to develop suspect and vehicle descriptions. Additionally, detectives are going door to door in the surrounding neighborhood speaking with any potential witnesses. Crime Scene Technicians are processing the scene for potential evidence.

Investigators are requesting anyone that was in the area of the Partners 1st Federal Credit Union this morning between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM and observed any suspicious vehicles or activity to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department at 260-427-1201 or the local FBI office 260-426-5331.
