FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police in Fort Wayne are investigating a mid-morning shooting in the southside of Fort Wayne. 

It reportedly happened at about 10 A.M Monday morning on South Wayne near Pierce. 

A Fort Wayne Police Report says a man was taken to the hospital in fair condition after what appears to be an in and out gunshot wound to his knee. 

Police continue to investigate.
