Police respond to bomb threat at Ossian Elementary School

OSSIAN, Ind. (WOWO): Police are currently responding to a bomb threat at Ossian Elementary School.

The school called police around 3:30 p.m. after a student noticed the words, “I planted a boom in room 18,” inside a bathroom stall, according to Northern Wells Community Schools Superintendent Scott Mills.

Mills said the school doesn’t know when the message was written in the bathroom stall. Police are sweeping the school to ensure there is no bomb.

There are currently no students inside the school.
