Police: Woman dies of suspected heart attack after break-in…

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Indianapolis police say a 62-year-old woman suffered a suspected heart attack and died after two men broke into her home.

Police say Annett Lofton was pronounced dead about 6 p.m. Wednesday in her home on the city's southeast side.

Sgt. Kendale Adams tells The Indianapolis Star that two men broke into her home by kicking in a door but fled when they realized Lofton was home. The intruders were arrested a short time later.

Police then were called back to Lofton's home for a medical emergency. WTHR reports first responders performed CPR but she was pronounced dead less than an hour after having talked to detectives.

Adams says there's no evidence linking the break-in to Lofton's death.
