FORT WAYNE (WOWO): Embattled State Superintendent Glenda Ritz will announce this week she is running for Governor in Fort Wayne.

That's according to education blogger Diane Ravitch. The announcement will be made Friday at 11 in the morning at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne.

Ritz has expressed an interest in running for Governor on the Democratic ticket as well as an interest in running for re-election as Superintendent of Public Instruction.
