INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): As snow continues to fall, INDOT is reminding drivers to use caution and expect poor road conditions into the evening.

Across the state, a full assignment of snow plows are expected to work state highways this afternoon. However, there is a strong possibility of snow and slush for rush hour traffic this afternoon.

Projections have as much as 1 to 3 inches of snow falling yet this afternoon. Dropping temperatures and gusting winds  will complicate snow plow efforts, especially in open and rural areas.

You are urged to be aware of updated road conditions before you venture out and allow extra time to get to your destination. And as always slow down – well below normal conditions.
