Power Outage in Decatur

DECATUR, Ind. (WOWO): Almost 1,500 Indiana Michigan Power customers are currently without power in Decatur. According to Tracy Warner with Indiana Michigan Power, the outage area stretches from Northwest Decatur to 700 West.

A traffic crash near U.S. 224 and County Road 400 West caused the outage. The company says about 500 customers could be restored by 3:30 p.m, but so far no estimate on the other one thousand customers has been provided. Stay tuned to WOWO for further details.
