Purdue Board of Trustees Chairman Speaks Out About Mitch Daniels

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP): The chairman of Purdue's board of trustees says he would have picked Mitch Daniels to be the university's president even if he had known Daniels tried to eliminate what he called liberal “propaganda” from teacher education courses while he was governor. Ken Krach commented after trustees approved a $58,000 bonus for Daniels, who started at Purdue in January.
