FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Science Central in Fort Wayne has received a mini-grant from NASA.

The Fort Wayne-based interactive science center was one of only 18 such facilities across the country to get money from NASA’s Universe of Learning program, which provides resources and experiences related to NASA astrophysics studies.

Science Central will use the funding to develop interactive video conferencing webinars for students in K through 12 special abilities classrooms.

Students will learn how to design a model of a new planet, then explain their creation to classmates and teachers.
