FORT WAYNE, Ind (WOWO) – Many banks and credit unions face ATM disruptions, making it difficult for customers to withdraw cash without visiting a branch.

Several financial institutions, including Centra Credit Union, Everwise Credit Union, First Farmers Bank & Trust, FORUM Credit Union, Indiana Members Credit Union, Lake City Bank, Security Federal Savings Bank, and STAR Financial, have been impacted.

These financial institutions have stated that unexpected complications with an external vendor caused the issue.

First Farmers Bank & Trust informed its clients that the ATM outage was regional and required updates before the complete restoration of services. Indiana Members Credit Union also stated that the issue affected financial institutions in Indiana and neighboring states.

Lake City Bank is advising its customers to use different ATMs as an alternative and has guaranteed that any fees incurred will be reimbursed. Most financial institutions also recommend visiting their physical branches personally, and some provide lists of operational ATMs.

Most financial entities have posted updates regarding the ATM issue on their official websites.
