FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A woman has sustained non-life-threatening injuries after her toddler shot her by mistake.

According to Fort Wayne’s NBC, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Boone Street around 5 p.m. Friday afternoon in reference to a shooting.

As a result, a child neglect investigation has been initiated.
