The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 10 p.m. The watch includes all of Northeast Indiana and virtually all of northern Indiana.

Counties effected include: Adams, Allen, Benton, Blackford, Boone, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Delaware, DeKalb, Elkhart, Fountain, Fulton, Grant, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Huntington, Jasper, Jay, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Lake, LaPorte, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Miami, Montgomery, Newton, Noble, Parke, Porter, Pulaski, Putnam, Randolph, St. Joseph, Starke, Steuben, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Wabash, Warren, Wells, White and Whitley Counties.
