Shooting just north of South Side High School, one injured

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – One person was injured after a shooting just north of South Side High School Tuesday.

Police were called to Packard Avenue and Clinton Court just after 3 p.m., and learned that a maroon car was driving in the opposite direction of a green SUV along Clinton when shots were fired from the car toward the SUV. Our partners in news at ABC 21 report one person in the SUV was struck in the torso.

The individual was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

South Side High School was put on lock down for approximately one hour while police investigated the area.

No arrests have been made, and no suspect information is available.
