FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It's National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, and the Fort Wayne Area Planning Council on Homelessness is asking you donate the $5 you would've spent on lunch to the Rescue Mission on 301 W. Superior Street. Approximately 2,500 people are homeless in Fort Wayne, and the council says just $5 will feed three hungry people.
