FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A type of space heater is being recalled after a fire that killed a Minnesota man last year.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says Vornado VH101 Personal Vortex electric space heaters are involved in the recall, which is being reannounced after initially issuing the recall in April 2018.

The heaters were sold at many national retailers, including Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Depot, Menards, Target and Amazon.com, between August 2009 and March 2018. The company says they have received 19 reports of the heaters catching on fire, including one incident that led to the death of a 90-year-old man in Minnesota.

The heaters are a little more than 7 inches long and almost 8 inches high. Click here to see if your model meets the recall. If so, return it to Vornado for details on how to get a refund or replacement, or call 855-215-5131.
