State Government Urges Residents to be Prepared Before Dangerous Weather Hits

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): The Indiana Department of Homeland Security wants to make sure Hoosiers are prepared before dangerous weather arrives. They say residents should take action now, by ensuring all members of your house: have extra blankets and water, know important phone numbers and emergency contact information, can locate water pipes, circuit breakers, and other important locations if a power outage occurs, and know how to leave the house and find the nearest exit in case of a fire or evacuation.
