Storm Debris Catches On Fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  The collected debris from heavy storms have turned into another problem.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department extinguished a pile of limbs that caught fire Sunday afternoon. It was part of the damage that was collected after the June 27th storm that knocked down trees and left many without power for days.  The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department collected tree debris at multiple areas, including where this fire occurred at Foster Park.

According to our partners in news at 21Alive, they say they're keeping an eye on current storm debris to make sure this doesn't happen again.
