WOLCOTTVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): A break-in could have been worse during a 4th of July scare in LaGrange County.

A white utility pick-up truck pulled up to a house near State Road 9 and Cemetery Street in Wolcottville and tried to enter a woman's home.

The suspect was a man who fled the area when confronted just before 4 a.m. on the 4th of July. The case remains under investigation.
