Fort Wayne Sets Record With 2.3 Inches of Snow

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) _ The National Weather Service says the storm that dumped heavy snow in some areas of Indiana set a record for Fort Wayne.
 
  The weather service reports 2.3 inches of snow fell in the northeastern city on Sunday, breaking the mark for that date of 1.7 inches set in 1912. Overall, Fort Wayne had 4.3 inches of snow from the storm as of 8 a.m. Monday.
 
  The weather service says other northern Indiana cities reporting heavy snowfall were: Hartford City in Blackford County with 10.5 inches, Galveston in Cass County with 10 inches, Bippus in Huntington County with 8 inches, Logansport, Bluffton and Decatur with 7 inches each and Huntington with 6.5 inches.
