FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): There’s big support for a public market at the proposed Electric Works project in downtown Fort Wayne.
That’s the indication from a survey the project’s developers are holding online. So far more than 1,800 people have taken it, and the majority of them say an indoor/outdoor market would be welcome, according to the Journal Gazette.
The idea is to offer a year-round, daily market with not only fresh produce but also prepared foods and local vendors, including food trucks and possibly craft items.
We have a link to the survey here; it’s open to city residents through Sunday.
