FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A suspect in a fatal September shooting is now scheduled to go to trial.

25-year-old Marcus Lindsey is set to be tried for assisting a criminal. Court records alleged that during the evening of September 8th Lindsey helped 24-year-old Charles Benson gun down John Holman in a barrage of gunfire on Eby Street.

A three-day trial is planned to begin February 10th in Allen Superior Court.

Lindsey could serve as much as six years in prison. The accused gunman, Benson is set to go to trial later this month.
