MILFORD, Ind. (WOWO): A Kosciusko County toddler is hospitalized after being bitten by a dog.

Police say a 21-month old toddler accidentally stepped on the Great Dane's paw causing the dog to turn and bite the boy.

It happened around 8:45 last night in Milford.

The child is in serious condition with injuries the face. He was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital.
