Tractor Chase through Mercer County

MERCER COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A man on a tractor led police on a slow chase through Mercer County.

Monday night around 8:30 p.m., Mercer County dispatch got a call about a man causing some property damage while driving a tractor.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, police tried to stop the driver with spikes, but instead the tractor swerved and rammed into some nearby vehicles.  Eventually the tractor started to have mechanical problems and officers were able to stop the driver. He is identified as 20-year-old Dustin Clouse of Decatur.

He's been charged with a felony for feeling and eluding law enforcement. Clouse is currently being held at an adult detention facility.
